Yes another great title from Call of Duty, on the 21st November Call of Duty World At War will be released. You will be up against new enemy’s, new tactics and a whole new experience battling it out on the front line. Players will employ new features like cooperative game play, and weapons such as the flamethrower in the most chaotic and cinematically intense experience to date. Get Ready For FIFA 09

EA sports also announced that they have introduced branching mechanics. This will lead to better animation as now there would be no need for an animation to be completed before next animation. This would result in smooth ball dribbling and make the game easier for defenders.

EA sports have also improved the player physics and now they can be seen fighting for ball even in air. The body collision effects are also redefined. Large players dominate collisions and also get better position in air and win in fights for position. The behavior and keenness of slides is different for light and large players.

The gaming fever is catching on all over the world. People don’t consider games to be just a source of entertainment these days, but it’s a much more serious business. And with international level gaming tournaments being organised on a large scale, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t! Of course researchers would say that video games dull your brain, but ask the gamers and they’ll tell you that these games improve your reflexes and hand-eye coordination!
The first ever video game, ‘Tennis for two’, was created in 1958 by William Higinbotham. Gaming has come a long way since then…let’s take a look at how this era of gaming began and has progressed through the years.
